1pm Coffee with a Cop at Hauppauge Public Library. Join local police officers from the 4th Precinct for a community conversation. Bring your questions and get to know your local police officers. All ages welcome.

6pm Hauppauge Middle School Ensemble concert at Hauppauge High School

7:30pm Hauppauge Middle School Grade 6 Winter concert at Hauppauge High School

Thursday, January 23

10am Tiny Tots “Nature Discoveries” at Caleb State Park. Explore the natural world around us. These programs will connect children and their parents with nature through short walks, animal visitors, and crafts. Children ages 3 -5.

3pm-7:30pm Blood Drive at Calvary Lutheran Church

6pm LGBT Families Potluck at LGBT Network

6:30pm Cartooning with Letters and Numbers at Hauppauge Public Library. Children will enjoy learning how to easily transform letters and numbers into cute cartoon characters through guided drawing exercises. Children will put all their drawings into a simple book, perfect for showing off their new drawing skills. Grades 1-5.

7:30pm Finger Weaving Scarves at Hauppauge Public Library. Learn how to create a scarf using only your hands! Grades 6-12.

Friday, January 24

1:30pm Tiny Tots: “Nature Discoveries” at Sunken Meadow State Park. Explore the natural world around us. These programs will connect children and their parents with nature through short walks, animal visitors, and crafts. Children ages 3 -5.

7pm Get Graphic! at Hauppauge Public Library. Are you a fan of comics, graphic novels, and/or manga?  Join Miss Victoria for a lively discussion about our favorite stories while swapping reading suggestions. Then stick around for a fun fandom-related activity. Grades 6-12.

Saturday, January 25

11am-3pm Winter Celebration at Connetquot River State Park
