All Day, Take & Make Kit: Colorful Jellyfish (PreK to grade 5) The kits are on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. 6:30pm, FREE Drive-In Movie Night: Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters Gull Haven Golf Course, 1 Gullhaven Dr. Central Islip, The FREE series will run weekly through August, and will be hosted at various locations throughout the Town of Islip  Space is limited and is first come, first serve. 12pm, A Wild Idea: How the Environmental Movement Tamed the Adirondacks (Online) The Adirondack Park is larger than Yellowstone, Yosemite, Glacier, Grand Canyon, and Great Smokies National Parks combined, yet they remain largely undeveloped. How did that happen? Author Brad Edmondson traces the story of the tumultuous birth of the Adirondack Park Agency, 50 years after its founding. In addition to ‘A Wild Idea’ (Cornell University Press 2021), he is the author of ‘Postwar Cornell,’ and ‘Ice Cream Social: The Struggle for the Soul of Ben & Jerry’s.’  Register here.
