6:30pm, Town of Islip Planning Board will hold an in-person Public Meeting at Islip Town Hall West, 401 W Main Street, Islip. Click here for the agenda. 6:30pm, Hauppauge: A History In-Person at the  Hauppauge Public Library  Classroom B. The hamlet of Hauppauge has a history that begins with the Native Americans who names the area. Through a series of stories and photographs, we will explore the history of Hauppauge both yesterday and today. A history divided by the Towns of Islip and Smithtown, yet the center of Suffolk County Government. Presented by historian and former Hauppauge High School teacher Noel Gish. Click here to register. 5pm, Trunk or Treat In-Person at the  Hauppauge Public Library  Parking Lot. Looking for a fun and safe way to trick or treat this October? Come to the library to trick or treat in our parking lot. Community members will be decorating their trunks in fun and spooky themes and will pass out candy to trick or treaters. For children of all ages, with caregiver.
