Christina D’Agostino and Caitlin Gauvin from Stony Brook University Hospital will discuss general health and wellness concerns and answer any questions you may have. Thursday, September 16

9am – 12pm COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic H. Lee Dennison Building, 100 Veterans Memorial Highway, Hauppauge. Vaccine: Pfizer. Everyone 12 years and older is eligible. Third doses for Immunocompromised Individuals are available at this clinic. No appointment is needed, however those with appointments will have priority. To make an appointment, click here or call 311. Bring identification. Children ages 12-17 should be accompanied by a parent or should bring completed consent form. Medical practitioners and emergency medical practitioners will be on-site at all times at each clinic to answer any questions and tend to any needs or concerns.

Saturday, September 18

8:30am, Bird at the Preserve: Connetquot River State Park Preserve A short presentation will focus on owls. Afterwards, take a walk through the preserve led by experienced birders from the Great South Bay Audubon Society to search for birds in the wild.

10am, Apple Festival Islip Grange 10 Broadway Ave, Sayville, Craft vendors, fresh apple desserts, amusement rides, festival food court, family fun zone, pumpkin picking, pony rides & petting zoo, and live entertainment. Free. Rain date Sept. 25.

7:30pm, Creatures of the Night: Connetquot River State Park Preserve Join us at the Preserve after hours for an exciting night hike.
