Are you or is someone you know Interested in becoming a volunteer firefighter? Young people age 14-18 may apply to join the Hauppauge Fire Department’s Explorer’s program. Explorer members will receive training, learn how the fire department works, and participate in fire department events. Once a trained explorer member turns 18, they may apply for formal membership to the Hauppauge Fire Department.
