Virtual Suffolk County Board of Review Meeting

The Suffolk County Department of Health Services’ Division of Environmental Quality will hold its regular monthly Board of Review Hearing on Thursday April 23, 2020. In accordance with Suffolk County’s COVID-19 mitigation response, the hearings will be held via ZOOM. Only health department representatives, applicants, applicant representatives, and formally invited parties will be able to speak during the hearing.

All other interested parties may listen to or view the hearings by using the links below and may submit comments regarding the application under review by mail to the Suffolk County Department of Health Services’ Board of Review, 360 Yaphank Avenue, Suite 2B, Yaphank, NY 11980. Comments must be received by Wednesday April 29, 2020. A court reporter will record the hearings and comments will be added to the record.

The Board of Review hears requests for variances and waivers to the county’s requirements for water and sewage disposal for new construction, and for storage of toxic or hazardous materials, as stated in the Suffolk County Sanitary Code.
