LGBT YOUTH EMPOWERMENT ADVISORY TEAM

YEAT is an empowerment group focused on building confidence, leadership, and advocacy skills. Join other young leaders in peer-led discussions about life, love, and leadership. Topics are chosen by youth participants for the following month.
Weekly topics:
- 7/14 – Queer sex ed
- 7/21– How to deal with negativity from others(friends/family) (IN-PERSON @ Hauppauge)
- 7/28– Coming out in College
