Bus Trip: The Essex Steam Train and Riverboart Sightseeing Tour, CT

Enjoy a 3-course lunch aboard a restored 1920’s Pullman Diners Train Car as part of a 3.75 hour lunch, train and riverboat sightseeing excursion. You begin your day boarding your Dining Car to savor a hot lunch at historic Essex Station that is prepared and cooked on board. Next, you will travel aboard the train along the Lower Connecticut River Valley while you finish your meal. At Deep River Landing, you will transfer to the Becky Thatcher Riverboat for a cruise on the Connecticut River – bursting with lush scenery and historic sites; such as Gillette Castle. You will finish your journey riding in Coach Passenger Cars aboard the train back to Essex Station. Menu to include Tossed Mixed Salad, choice of Eggplant Parmesan, Beef Tips and Gravy or Baked Chicken Breast, Chef’s Choice Dessert and tea, coffee, or iced tea.
$100 resident, $110 non-resident.
