COVID-19 vaccines are available in New York. The following information will help to you determine if you are eligible to receive a vaccine and schedule an appointment.
To make an appointment to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, begin at the New York State Department of Health website:

- Click on “CHECK ELIGIBILITY”
- You will see a List of New York State-operated vaccination locations and availability.
- Click on “GET STARTED”
- Enter your information, and check the consent box at the end.
Once eligibility has been determined:
- Click on “Locate Providers” and find a location that has appointments available.
- Click on “Select Visit Time” and chose a time.
- Enter your information, including email address.
- Print out your CDMS Registration Ticket, which is required at the time of your vaccine appointment.

Additionally, pharmacies will be providing vaccines to eligible residents age 65+ through the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program:
The Federal Retail Pharmacy Program for COVID-19 Vaccination is a collaboration between the federal government, states and territories, and 21 national pharmacy partners and independent pharmacy networks to increase access to COVID-19 vaccination across the United States.
The program will be implemented incrementally, based on the available supply of COVID-19 vaccines. As part of this initial phase, select retail pharmacies in each state and U.S. territory will receive a limited supply of COVID-19 vaccine directly from the federal government to vaccinate eligible individuals in their communities.
The following pharmacies in our area are part of the Initial Federal Retail Pharmacy Partners, according to the CDC:
CVS Stores
On Thursday, February 11, CVS stores in Manorville and West Sayville will begin to administer COVID-19 vaccines to eligible people. Patients must register in advance at https://www.cvs.com/
or through the CVS Pharmacy app, or contact CVS customer service: 800-746-7287.

New York State COVID-19 Vaccination Hotline: The COVID-19 Vaccination Hotline is open 7AM – 10PM, 7 days a week, to help New Yorkers determine if they are eligible and schedule vaccination appointments. This hotline is very difficult to get through to; we recommend to try calling right when it opens for the day.
