Annual Power of One – Family Fun Run

On Saturday, April 25th, the Hauppauge Youth and Community Alliance and Wellness Committee will present their Annual Power of One – Family Fun Run at Hauppauge Middle School. Hauppauge School District community members of all ages are welcome to participate. All proceeds will benefit P.O.W.E.R. Scholarships for Hauppauge High School seniors.

The run will begin at 8:30 a.m. in front of Hauppauge Middle School and will proceed through the streets of Hauppauge. Official times will be recorded for all participants, and awards will be presented to the top three male and female runners in each of the following age groups: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.

At 8 a.m., a one mile fun run will also take place on the grounds of Hauppauge Middle School. In celebration of their achievements, all participants will receive fun run certificates.

Annual Power of One – Family Fun Run entrants may pre-register for the event by completing this form, which must be postmarked no later than April 23rd. The cost of pre-registration is $15.00 per adult and $10.00 per student. Registration will also take place the day of the race at sign-in tables set up in Hauppauge Middle School’s main lobby from 7:30 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. No entries will be accepted after 8:20 a.m. On the day of the event, the cost of registration will be $20.00 per adult and $15.00 per student.

The first 50 entrants to pre-register will receive a specially designed T-shirt that may be picked up in the Hauppauge Middle School main lobby prior to the race.
